SPECIALTIES
My specialties reflect the areas where I’ve found the most experience and effectiveness in supporting clients. Each focus area is approached with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll build clarity, strength, and healing at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
ANXIETY & DEPRESSION
My approach to treating anxiety and depression is collaborative and personalized. Together, we set realistic goals that reflect your unique needs and values. I believe in empowering clients to regain a sense of control while feeling supported in a space grounded in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I often draw from psychodynamic therapy to explore how past experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This deeper understanding can help uncover unconscious patterns and support lasting personal growth. I also integrate mindfulness-based CBT techniques to help clients notice and shift automatic thought patterns, and Attachment-Focused EMDR to process trauma and build emotional resilience. This combination creates a tailored, comprehensive approach to healing and well-being.
TEENS | ADOLESCENTS
Teen therapy offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for adolescents to explore the challenges of this transitional life stage. Adolescence often brings hormonal changes, academic pressure, shifting social dynamics, and emotional intensity, which can feel overwhelming at times. I work with teens using an emotion-focused, insight-oriented approach to help them build emotional regulation, healthy communication, and self-understanding. I also support teens exploring their gender and/or sexual identity, helping them express themselves authentically and navigate relationships with confidence. My goal is to empower teens to make positive, lasting changes that extend beyond the therapy room and support their growth into resilient, self-aware adults.
COUPLES | PARTNERS | RELATIONSHIPS
Couples therapy is a collaborative form of psychotherapy designed to strengthen relationships by improving communication, increasing emotional connection, and addressing patterns that contribute to conflict and misunderstanding. In our sessions, I work with partners included in the relationship to identify these patterns and develop practical strategies that support healthier interactions. My approach is celebratory, inclusive, shame-free, and non-judgmental. I welcome all relationship dynamics, including monogamy, polyamory, kink, and non-traditional arrangements and provide a safe space to explore topics such as sexual identity, personal history, and emotional intimacy. Together, we will collaboratively work toward deeper understanding, stronger connection, and greater empathy.
TRAUMA
As a trained EMDR therapist currently expanding my expertise in Attachment-Focused EMDR, I integrate this evidence-based approach into treatment for trauma, anxiety, phobias, and other distressing experiences. EMDR helps clients process and reframe painful memories so they no longer impact daily life as intensely. Together, we identify specific memories or triggers to target and use bilateral stimulation such as guided eye movements or rhythmic tapping, to support the brain’s natural healing process. With an attachment-focused lens, this approach also addresses relational and developmental roots of distress, supporting deeper healing, emotional stability, and healthier relationships.
LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY
LGBTQ+ therapy provides a safe, affirming space for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning. I work collaboratively with clients to explore and address challenges related to sexual orientation and gender identity, including discrimination, coming out, relationships and dating, religious trauma, family rejection, and anxiety or depression. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring lived experience and deep empathy to the therapeutic relationship. I also integrate an intersectional perspective, recognizing how systems of privilege and oppression impact identity, wellbeing, and access to support. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and authenticity, helping you embrace and celebrate who you are.
