SPECIALTIES

My specialties reflect the areas where I’ve found the most experience and effectiveness in supporting clients. Each focus area is approached with curiosity, compassion, and evidence-based care tailored to your unique needs. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to start, you’re in the right place. Together, we’ll build clarity, strength, and healing at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.

THERAPY FOR ANXIETY

My approach to treating anxiety is collaborative, compassionate, and personalized. Together, we set realistic goals that align with your unique needs, values, and pace. I strive to create a supportive therapeutic space rooted in empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard, where you can feel safe exploring what’s beneath the surface while regaining a sense of control.

I often draw from psychodynamic therapy to examine how past experiences influence present-day thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This insight can help bring unconscious patterns into awareness and support meaningful, lasting change. Alongside this, I integrate mindfulness-based CBT techniques to help you notice and gently shift automatic thought patterns, as well as attachment-focused EMDR to process trauma and strengthen emotional resilience. Together, these approaches allow for a thoughtful, integrative path toward healing and greater well-being.

THERAPY FOR TEENS

Teen therapy provides a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for adolescents to explore the challenges of this important developmental stage. Adolescence can bring hormonal changes, academic pressure, shifting social dynamics, and intense emotions, which may feel overwhelming at times.

I work with teens using an emotion-focused, insight-oriented approach to help them build emotional regulation skills, strengthen communication, and develop greater self-understanding. I also support teens who are exploring their gender and/or sexual identity, offering an affirming space to express themselves authentically and navigate relationships with confidence. My goal is to empower teens to make positive, lasting changes that extend beyond the therapy room and support their growth into resilient, self-aware adults.

THERAPY FOR COUPLES | PARTNERS

Couples therapy is a collaborative process designed to strengthen relationships by enhancing communication, deepening emotional connection, and addressing patterns that contribute to conflict or misunderstanding. In our work together, I partner with all individuals in the relationship to identify these patterns and develop practical strategies that support healthier, more fulfilling interactions.

My approach is celebratory, inclusive, shame-free, and non-judgmental. I warmly welcome all relationship structures, including monogamy, polyamory, kink, and other non-traditional arrangements. I strive to create a safe, affirming space to explore topics such as sexual and relational identity, personal history, emotional intimacy, and desire. Together, we work toward greater understanding, stronger connection, and deeper empathy within the relationship.

THERAPY FOR TRAUMA

As a trained EMDR therapist currently expanding my expertise in Attachment-Focused EMDR, I integrate this evidence-based approach into treatment for trauma, anxiety, phobias, and other distressing experiences. EMDR supports the processing and integration of painful memories so they no longer carry the same emotional intensity or disrupt daily life.

Together, we identify specific memories, experiences, or triggers to target and use bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements or rhythmic tapping—to activate the brain’s natural healing process. Through an attachment-focused lens, EMDR also explores the relational and developmental roots of distress, supporting deeper healing, increased emotional stability, and healthier, more secure relationships.

THERAPY FOR DEPRESSION
My approach to treating depression is collaborative and compassionate, grounded in mindfulness-based CBT, attachment theory, and attachment-focused EMDR. I offer a supportive, non-judgmental space to explore experiences of heaviness, disconnection, and emotional exhaustion—feelings that can affect motivation, self-worth, relationships, and overall quality of life.

Together, we work to increase awareness of unhelpful thought patterns, process underlying emotional and relational experiences, and strengthen coping skills that support emotional regulation and resilience. I also help clients explore how past attachment experiences may be shaping their current emotional world and relationships. Through this integrative, insight-oriented approach, clients can reconnect with meaning, cultivate greater self-compassion, and create lasting, meaningful change.

THERAPY FOR THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY

LGBTQ+ therapy offers a safe, affirming, and supportive space for individuals who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or questioning. I work collaboratively with clients to explore challenges related to sexual orientation and gender identity, including discrimination, coming out, relationships and dating, religious trauma, family rejection, and experiences of anxiety or depression.

As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring lived experience, cultural humility, and deep empathy to the therapeutic relationship. I also integrate an intersectional perspective, acknowledging how systems of privilege and oppression shape identity, well-being, and access to support. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, resilience, and authenticity—supporting you in embracing and celebrating who you are.
