You may reschedule or cancel a session at no charge if done more than 24 hours in advance. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment, you will be responsible for the full session fee. A 10-minute grace period is provided for all appointments. If you fail to attend within 10 minutes of the session start time, the session will be automatically rescheduled, and you will be charged the full fee. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, so the first three reschedules/cancellations each year are free of charge.

Whether you live in a busy city, a quiet suburb, or a rural community, you can connect with us from the comfort of your own home. Jess Perez Therapy is not in-network with any insurance providers or panels. However, many insurance carriers and PPO plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network therapy costs. If your policy includes such benefits, we can provide you with a monthly super-bill or summary of services to submit for reimbursement. We do not bill with insurance providers directly.
To verify if you qualify for reimbursement for out-of-network services, please contact your insurance provider.

LEGAL NOTICES

You have the right to receive a 'Good Faith Estimate' that outlines the expected costs of your medical and mental health care. Under the law, healthcare providers must provide an estimate of charges for patients without insurance or those not using insurance, including psychotherapy services. You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy.
You can request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider, or any provider you choose, before scheduling a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill. Be sure to keep a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For more information about your rights or questions about the Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
